• THROBBING GRISTLE.COM WEBSITE UPDATE •

This site has recently undergone a few updates.
The most significant of these is that the TG News page (this page) is now in a 'blog' format which is mirrored on Blogger.com: - throbbing--gristle.blogspot.com

This change means comments can now be left to TG News posts, although 99% of the time the comments will not be answered or commented on by TG, or any TG representatives and are instead included for TG fans and followers to use amongst themselves. At present the blog comments are 'unmoderated'. However, if the situation warrants it this may change to 'moderated', or in a worst case scenario, the comments feature may be disabled altogether.
So we'll have to see how this new feature on TG.com works out. Be nice people...

  3. Thanks for a great tour last year. I can't recall another concert where the crowd sat respectful and quiet in completely transfixed and awaiting the artists' first move. A few decades of anticipation is, no doubt, partly the cause of such phenomena. Come back to the US asap! Your time has finally come.

  4. whoops, should have proof read . . . I meant to say " . . . sat respectful, quiet, and completely transfixed awaiting . . . " The gratitude remains the same and sincere. Thanks again for a wonderful tour.

  6. I think this is a great idea. Now you can recieve direct feedback on whatever it is you are doing at the time. I do ask for one thing. I ask that you release more live concert CDs or DVDs. I think all T.G. fans can agree with that. Thank you for the experience and keep the music coming.

  7. I notice that there is a Desertshore album under the recorded section and slated to be released this year. Does anyone have any information pertaining to the release of this album? Or does anyone have any information on a future tour perhaps?

  8. In answer to steelbread, the Desertshore album was recorded before a live studio audience at the ICA in June 2007 over the course of 3 days. It is a version by TG of the Nico album and the full recording sessions were released in full on a 12 CD set that is worth a listen if you can track down a copy. I'm assuming, having been in production for 2½ years that it will come out soon, though in the world of TG nothing is predictable so don't hold your breath!
